The above passage briefly describes the powers a vampire has at its disposal. Most vampires, like humans, are usually unique in a few ways. Vampires usuallyappears as a ghost to its victims, materialising only when attacking. As they have no true physical form when seen moving, it cannot be harmed physically. Some accounts mention that the vampire produce a great stench that cause diseases such as plagues. In certain cases, a vampire can call out a person's name three times and the person would die before the night is over. If undetected, a vampire can climb up to the belfry of a church and ring the death knell. Anyone who hearing it would die on the spot. Vampires are said to attack livestock too. Anyone eating the meat of an animal attacked by a vampire becomes a vampire too. Anyone killed by a vampire are doomed to become a vampire as well.
Since such vampires are animated corpses, most of their powers have to do with a physical aspect. It is said that as vampires grow older, they also grow more powerful. This may mean that either they grow stronger in the powers they already possess or they acquire new powers never heard of before. Due to this unpredicatable element, it is unwise to difficult to categorize their exact powers. Below is a list of the most common powers most vampires have:

Superhuman Strength
A vampire possesses a strength no mere mortal can match up with. They essentially have the strength of ten men. This makes them extremely hard to deal with in physical combat.

Superhuman Speed
As vampires live beyond mortal time, they can phase through a small period of time, enabling them to move faster than what the human eye can perceive. This is also why vampires are said to be able to "teleport".

Enhanced Senses
As a predator, the vampire is equipped with enhanced senses of hearing, smell and sight. The vampire can see as well in total darkness as humans can see in broad daylight. There are even rumours that vampires possess infrared vision allowing them to track living beings.

Hypnotism
Probably their most useful weapon, vampires can plant suggestions into anyone meeting their hypnotic gaze. The strength of the suggestions depend on the difference between the vampire's will and that of the victim's. Using this power, vampires can also force victims to forget about the attack.

Damage Resistence
Vampires are extremely resistant to physical damage. Conventional weapons like blades and guns cannot damage their physical form. Only holy items or weapons made of specific materials can inflict injuries on them.

Regeneration
Even if a vampire is wounded, their rate of healing is very fast. Most wounds will heal with one night of rest. Only serious wounds caused by holy items would scar them forever. Some even say that a vampire can heal all its wounds by draining all the fresh blood from their victim.

Animal Control
Vampires can control the minds of bats, rats and wolves found in their vicinity. These animals will obey every command of their newfound master's, even if it brings death.

Shape Shifting
Vampires can shape-shift into the shape of a bat or a wolf. They can also disperse into elemental vapours, thus allowing them to skip in through door slits or narrow cracks.

Wall Climbing
Vampires can climb walls without the aid of any equipment. They can climb up or down the steepest walls the way insects do (much like Spiderman), enabling them to seek refuge in places where no mere mortal can reach.

Magical Abilities
Vampire have limited control over the weather. They could raise a fog or summon a storm to cover their tracks. Older vampires may have other magical powers such as necromancy or alchemy.

Creating new vampires
New vampires created by a vampire master will become their master's slaves. Only victims whom has been chosen to rise by the master vampire would rise as vampires themselves. The specific details of the transformation would be discussed in the next chapter. Vampire slaves have to obey the will of their master. Only when the master is weakened (eg. in daylight), destroyed or if the master consciously releases its control; then the slave could act on its own will.

Immortality
Of course, vampires are immortal. They do not age and die with the passing of time. Although they may appear to have aged when they have not fed for a long time, they will be rejuvenated when they drink a lot of blood. They are also immune to all forms of diseases known to humans. Due to their long "life span", their cunning and intelligence cannot be underestimated as it is one of their most formidable weapons.

These are just the most common powers. Older vampires are said to be able to direct the elements too. The most ancient vampires are supposed to be able to stand in the sunlight for at least an hour. As their ties with the netherworld grow stronger with age, the effect holy items have on them are lessened. So we can see, the oldest of these monsters are truly formidable opponents along with their accumulated knowledge and abilities. The passage below drawn from Galican folklore says a lot about the vampire's powers:

The power of the vampire is very great and many-
sided, even in his lifetime can kill people and even eat
them alive; can bring into being, or remove, various
sicknesses and epidemics, storms, rain, hail, and such;
he casts spells on cows and their milk, the crops and
the husbandry generally; he knows all secrets and the
future, etc. Besides this he can make himself invisible
or transform himself into various objects, especially
into animal forms.
Most of their powers arise from the ability to channel and manipulate energies. Their main ability is to drain pranic energy without taking fresh blood. Vampires have an aura that causes them to stand out among humans; they tend to capture attention. They have psychic powers limited to their control of energies. Some say that it is possible for a vampire to alter his body's Electromagnetic Field in order to levitate.

When vampires absorb the energy of a human, the human's thoughts may be glimpsed by them. It may be possible for them to read minds if an effort is made to penetrate a human's thoughts. If a vampire can assume control of his/her capacity to handle energy, they can actually give energy to humans. With this ability, a vampire can heal another person through what is known as psychic healing.

What does a vampire look like? How does one distinguish a vampire from a human?


# Vampires are the restless dead who return from the dead to drain the life force of the living. When seen, the vampire will appear in spirit form similar to ghosts
# Vampires' bodies are rather intact and fresh (little decay) when the bodies should have decayed long ago
# The bodies continued to grow hair and nails after death
# Old skin had fallen off and new skin has grown
# Fresh blood found in mouth. Blood flows from eyes, nose and ears when staked
# In certain cases, the vampire grow plumper than they were in life
# The bodies did not smell of decay
# The bodies had the color of the living
# The bodies had sharp teeth and nails
# In certain cases, a vampire's coffin was found filled with fresh blood
It is due to these reasons that vampires are said to be dead yet living giving them the name undead. The easiest way to spot vampires in those days were the fact that they made no secret of their existence: They preyed on a lot of people at the same time and most of the victims lived long enough to warn the others before they eventually wasted away. The victims were usually healthy before their deaths hence arousing the suspicions of the local populace.

# They move in complete silence leaving no trace of their passing
# They are unable to eat or drink anything other than blood. It is said that as vampires get older, they may gain the ability to temporarily hold solid food
# They are unable to move around in the daylight. Older vampires can move about sunlight though doing so would greatly weaken them

How does a vampire come into existence?
Destined to be a vampire
Some people are fated to become vampires from the moment they were born. Due to the conditions of their birth or a family curse. For some, there are rituals to negate this tragic fate. While for others... perhaps true death is the only cure to free their tortured souls:

* Born with teeth
* The 7th son of the 7th son
* Illegimate offspring of illegitimate parents
* Born with abnormal features (extra nipple, split lower lip)
* Conceived during a holy period (according to Church calendar)
* Born with bestial feature (fur down the front or back or covered in hair)
* Born with a red caul (normally white). In such cases, vampirism can be prevented by drying the caul and mixing it to the child's food for a fixed period of time

Most of the time, these people would not know of their fate until the moment of their deaths. In order to become undead, the human must die in order for the vampire to be born. Hence, we can conclude that death plays a very important factor in vampirism.

Predisposition
These are people who become vampires due to the way they lived their lives or they way they died. These people are considered to be no longer accepted in the realm of God and are Mother Earth would not accept the burial of such people. Such people are condemned to exist eternally in the darkness as punishments for the sins they committed in live:

* Suicides
* Criminals
* Alcoholics
* Evil-Doers
* Prostitutes
* People with no religion
* People who renounce life
* Victims of unsolved murders
* Christians who convert to Islam
* People who died suddenly and violently
* People who renounced the Eastern Orthodox Religion (This is the case of Vlad Dracula)

Having lost their humanity, these people possesses a hatred for life and when their natures are well suited for vampirism. They have that drive to take revenge on a world that has been unfair to them in life thus making them the most dangerous type of vampires.

Events
Most people become vampires due to circumstances not of their own fault. Of all the categories, these vampires are closer to being human. They have a passion towards life that other types of vampires lack. However, due to the dark nature of their unlives, this passion will soon be corrupted into an yearning to take the lives of others to replenish their own:

* Lack of burial
* Being attacked and transformed by a vampire
* The body was reflected in a mirror before burial
* Carelessness, improper and incomplete burial rites
* An animal jumping over the body before burial (bats, dogs and cats in particular)
* Children whose godfathers stumbled upon reciting the Apostle's Creed at their baptism
* A person whose shadow has been stolen. Theft usually occurs near a building where the victim's shadow is measured against the wall and secured by nailing a nail through the shadow's head.

The Transformation
The vampire of fiction has great appetite, sometimes claiming two victims per night. If all the victims of vampires became vampires themselves, the world would be full of them now. A certain ritual has to be fulfilled in order for the chosen victim to undergo transformation. Few books gave much attention to the process of transformation. Most vampire stories pay more attention to killing the vampire instead of studying their existence.
The first step of transformation is to seduce the victim into accepting the vampire's dark embrace. The promise of eternal life, an existence beyond human's morals and obligations. A person's desire for immortality and superhuman power is a crucial force in surviving the transformation. Without these, the victim may just die before the transformation is complete.
When the victim is ready, the vampire will proceed to suck the victim's blood. Just before the victim dies, the vampire must replace the victim with their blood.
A new vampire is a slave to its creator, it must follow its master's will due to the blood link between them. The master's power over its slave is telepathic; it does not need to be in the vicinity to control the vampire slave. The only way for a slave to be completely free of its master is to have a stronger will than its master, or slaying the master. A vampire slave may win its freedom as it grows more powerful with age. The ability to create new vampires grows with the strength of the vampires. A vampire that has created new slaves is known as a Master Vampire.

Vampires can't use jutsus while they are in the vampire form. They must turn back to their human form.
The human form is not affected by light or things like this (a normal human).
The vampire queen can walk thru' sunshine in her vampire form.

All bearers have the natural chakra affinities of earth, but they also inherited the ability to compress their element into the secondary element of Metal. They can not only control preexisting metal, but they can also create their own metal.
This ability is not able to be copied, even by the ever powerful Sharingan. This technique is exclusive to the Kurogane clan, because it has been kept secret. (Think Aburame clan…)

Special Clan Characteristics: Pale skin and hair with dark eyes, usually black. Most members are weapon masters or blacksmiths.

Clan History: The Kurogane clan began with the development of Kirigakure. They were blacksmiths of the highest regard and were demanded throughout the five great Shinobi nations. The Kurogane clan was renowned for their light coloring and uncanny talent for blacksmithing. They were masters of the earth element, soon finding that the advanced level of their element had changed the chakra affinity of their body. They were then able to produce metal, usually iron, as well as control it.
After many years the Kurogane clan realized that the ability to produce this element was dwindling with the mixture of other bloodlines diluting the blood. After a while only a few Shinobi out of those born every few years would bear this ability. The others of the clan soon found their coloring darkening, but those who inherited the Third element were born as light colored as those of the founding Shinobi.

Blood Line or Special Ability: Shoryu bloodline and Doujutsu

The Shoryu bloodline, allows the user to tap into spiritual energy components of chakra. It creates a different source of energy, that supplements chakra. Resulting in a chakra boost for the user. It is similar to a ninja using a soldier pill, to boost stamina. Whenever the user taps into the Shoryu energy, the user can then use it for a few things. To either supplement chakra resulting in a boost and jutsu. Or to give a speed boost, whenever firing their Bows. Or to induce the transformation of the Shinryu clan. This particular transformations gives the user draconic features. Such as, draconic elements, tail, claws, wings, mouth, strength and speed. Once the user of the shoryu bloodline is experienced enough. Their final transformation results in a dragon.

The strength of the Shoryu user will increase, making them twice as strong. It is nothing like the strength of tsuande, but they do "pack a punch". This substantial increase in strength, is due to the Shoryu energy, which the user uses as a supplement. To boost their beast like strength. It should also be noted that the user, will gain an increase in speed. But their speed increase, is basically an advanced version of the body flicker. (So its basically something like, lee and Sasuke moving really fast). Also note that a Shinryu can fire up to 7 arrows in 2.5 seconds. The ability to do this is due to the Shoryu spiritual energy.

Shinryu clan members are born with the characteristic golden eyes. But once the eyes are activated, They change somewhat in appearance. The users pupils will, change to what looks like a wheel with fine spokes. While the iris gains a thick black line around it. So essentially the eyes will be a distinctive gold and black.

The capabilities of the dojutsu are.

1. To be able to see over long distances. The user can cover up to 5 kilometres. But the user can only see what’s going on, in the direction he/she is looking. (So no 360 degree like the hyuga clan)

2. It also allows the user to detect and dispel genjutsu. But they are not able to cast any genjutsu of their own. Due to the Shoryu energy, the user will focus their chakra in order to overpower the genjutsu.

The doujtsu compliments the clan really well. Since they are also weapons experts. But above all they use the bow and arrow. The bows of the Shinryu clan are build from a special material. Making it almost indestructible. As one would guess, this makes the clan, experts at ranged combat.

Shoryu transformatio: There are 4 stages to the Shoryu transformation.

The first stage, the user will gain draconic claws and legs. The second stage, the user will gain, claws, legs and tails. the third stage the user will have wings to go along with the first and second stages. And the 4th and final stage the user will transform into a dragon. A full fledged fire breathing dragon. (Think kiba and akamaru's 2 headed wolf transformation).

Clan: Enzro clan
Due to a unique genetic build of the Enzro clan, they are able to manipulate earth and fire elements molding it into lave/ magma. They have long-medium blonde eye and each member have golden eyes due to their lava moulding abilities. Each clan member are born with a fire element.
When they use their bloodline limit the blonde hair begins to shine having a lava colour. The lava jutsu is a potential S rank attacked that can cause a massive distruction to their opponent. Their own jutsu cannot harm them when they are properly trained to control it. The lava which they develop can be used to engulf around their bodies as protection and for attack as well. By doing this the clan was acknowledge by the 1st Kazekage and they showed other members of the village how to mould the two elements but it wasn’t a success. The Enzro clan realized that they created their own bloodline limit and they used this as an opportunity to be one of the top clan in the village.

Dontan Kazangan is a mixture between Tobimarus fire and earth elements by mixing the two jutsu and putting in a tremendous amount of chakra together he created the lava much is effective against water type attacks. If the lava is cooled down by the enemy water jutsu, the user can use his fire jutus to give it more power for the lava to arise once more. If the enzro member has alos go an earth element when the lava is cooled down he/she can use the earth element to attack.

lvl 1# : the users left eye would turn a silver colour ( the first 2 lvls are called gin manako) and makes them able to read the opponents movements and are able to do hand signs in a single post unless its extremly power full. the user must have over 100 posts. ( unless ur the creator u have to get half of the nessescary posts)


lvl 2#: the users eyes turn silver and 3 tameos will appear and there eyes will seem as if there spinning and they are able to complete hand signs with a single hand and can minilulate the opponents genjutsus ( only 4 of their genjutsus per battle). the user must be chunin. the users speed increases by 1/2 his/her normal speed.

lvl3#: the users eyes turn golden and they are able to copy the opponents ninjutsu genjutsu and taijutsu the user can use multipul jutsus at once but consumes double the amount it should. the user must be jounin.

lvl4#: the users eyes turn golden and their eyes will never turn normal but the eyes have a symbal of anything the user chooses as soon as they reach the lvl. the user can now steel the opponents jutsus forcing them to lose the ability to use them but the person with this bloodline is unable to take clan or bloodline jutsus. the user must be sanin/kage.

lvl5#: only the clan leader can use this one.
the user of this lvl will age 5 times normaly and they will die in half the age they should e.g. if they were ment to die at the age of 60 they will die at the age of 30. every time the user uses it they will lose 5 years of their remaining age. the leader must be kage.
